LINDA ASHLEY

Principal Solicitor
LL.B | B.A | LLM (Melb Uni)
Accredited Specialist in Commercial Law

Linda Ashley is the Principal Solicitor of Linda Ashley Law. She began her journey in Law as a young teenager, when she undertook work experience in a law firm. Despite finding a solicitor’s job to be ‘boring’ at the time, she continued to climb the legal ladder at the encouragement of her parents not knowing that in a short time, Law would be a match made in heaven for her.

After completing a double degree in a Bachelor of Arts (Legal Studies Major) and Bachelor of Laws Linda was admitted into the Supreme Court as a Legal Practitioner and was also admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia. Since becoming a Lawyer she has dedicated her time to the legal profession. Alongside running her own practice since January 2019, Linda has continued to grow her skills and knowledge and has completed a Masters in Commercial Law at the University of Melbourne and has also obtained the prestigious title of being deemed a Specialist in Commercial Law with the Law Institute of Victoria in 2022. Linda has since completed the professional course in Notarial Practice in 2024 and is also part of the Law Institute of Victoria’s Specialisation Committee. Linda’s continual growth in the legal industry allows her to continue to expand on her knowledge and skills to provide exceptional services to her clients.

Linda delivers high quality work in many areas of law which she has used to help thousands of individual and corporate clients achieve their goals. She provides exceptional and specialised legal services without clients having to ‘break the bank’ with ‘big-firm’ legal fees as her charges are reasonable and honest. She prides herself on providing a personal approach that takes the stress away from her clients and leaves them confident that their case is handled diligently by someone who cares. This is not just a job to Linda, but a passion and her goal is to ensure that her client’s interests are upheld and that they receive the best possible outcome, which is also the reason why over 90% of her matters are resolved in a fast and cost-effective manner without the need for going through a daunting court process. Where necessary to litigate, Linda is equipped with substantive knowledge and resources to do so.

Whether you’re selling a business, investing in property, starting a new franchise, in a stressful legal dispute or you just want to meet Linda, come and visit her in the heart of Melbourne at our office in Carlton and she would be delighted to assist you, provided it’s not too early in the morning and she has had her coffee first!
